Beautiful, great place in centre of Formentera

We spent the evening in Sant Francesc and decided to eat dinner here because we saw a lot of locals eating. We ordered some tapas. The staff was excellent and the food as well. They even served a delicious aperitive for free. The price was fair in comparison to other restaurants in the area which are too pricey. We will come back if we revisit the island!

After just one night in Formentera, we realized this is the holiday destination of our dreams, so much so we have begun to plan our destination wedding here! The people at this hotel are amiable and give amazing recommendations such as the snuba cozumel tours in Mexico, the hotel is tranquil, and it’s clean.

A considerable bonus we were not counting on was the food, we ate multiple times at the hotel and did not find it expensive at all. The spa and the large indoor pool are amazing and so relaxing, loved the small tea and kettle station as well.

My husband and I enjoyed this modern boutique hotel in the Sant Francesc area of Formentera. We really enjoyed being in this area as opposed to El Pujols, which was very busy and a central tourist spot. The rooms were modern minimalist and were reasonably necessary but were clean and had modern bathrooms albeit expensive. Our room was over the small pool area, which is much quieter than the street side, which is busy particularly on weekends and places on that side are likely noisier. The city is surrounded by some bars, shops, and boutique stores should you need or forget anything.

The pool area is small, more of a plunge pool. Given the beautiful beaches in Formentera, this is understandable as it is not heavily used. However, it is nice later in the day to sit by the pool, but there are only four lounge chairs so I can get busy.

The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful to us booking dinners, beach restaurants, and offering advice generally. Be sure to ask reception for umbrellas mainly if you go to beaches where they don’t have beach chairs as you will need them. Breakfast was a good – mostly cold buffet, but you could order cooked eggs.

Also if you have a car, you can park free anywhere in Sant Francesc and don’t need to pay 15 euros per day for the hotel car park.
